It’s time for Africa!

Posted in: Ethiopia | By: Aaron | August 24, 2013

We’ve been so far behind on the blog, but we’re finally (somewhat) up-to-date!  We’ve been in Africa for about three weeks, and we can finally talk about it.

The differences between Africa and the US were evident from the start, as we traveled Ethiopian Air through Addis Ababa.  Brighter colors, lots of people wanting to talk to us, and very limited person space (a man almost got into a fight after refusing to sit in the window seat, as leg room was non-existent.)  While all the new experiences and senses were a little nerve-racking at first, it’s been fun exploring the different cultures.  Our travel is limited to just two countries in East Africa – Kenya and Tanzania.  It’s been an eye-opening and amazing experience – more posts to follow!
